Full Charge Accounts Payable and Payroll Accountant - Finance Team Leader - Corporate Headquarters
The Finance Team Leader will be an experienced professional responsible for handling accounts payable, payroll and other financial accounting matters.
The candidate will be responsible for the maintenance of accounts payable from invoice receipt, approval, and input through the creation and issuance of checks at the direction of the CFO.
This includes invoice inputs, entering credits, tracking credits, processing returns, matching and filing invoices, working with Electronic Data Interchange or other automatically generated invoices and related systems, disbursement advices, mailing checks, and other duties as assigned.
The candidate would coordinate closely with the Director of Inventory as appropriate.
The successful candidate will be expected to maintain excellent relations with our vendor partners through close communications with regard to vendor payable balances and timely reconciliation of statements.
The finance team leader will be responsible for account reconciliations and support of general ledger closing activities including reconciling cash accounts.
The candidate will be responsible for reviewing the daily reconciliations and coordinate accounting related efforts of Satellite stores.
Manage finance assistant staff in accomplishing all team leader duties.
The candidate will be responsible for all payroll processing.
The finance team leader will facilitate the annual audit providing data requests and responding to inquiries related to areas managed.
Our successful candidate will assist the CFO in other appropriate projects and research.
Bachelors degree in accounting or complimentary fields preferred.
Two to four years' direct or complimentary experience required.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
