Lead in the planning, development, and execution of testing for complex systems and equipment using knowledge of HP automated testing tools; Visual Basic, C/C++, SQL, XML; Relation databases; Systems and Integration Test Criteria; testing, enhancements, and bug fixes on N-Tier applications on UNIX & Windows platforms. Collaborate with various teams across IT to identify impacts of test requirements and improve overall quality of final deliverables. Work with business partners to understand requirements. Coordinate between business and IT testing activities and coordinate and provide client demonstrations. Define manual, automation, and/or performance test strategies. Analyze and define program or project integrated test strategy, including test data and coverage. Interface with vendors and vendor products. Define and ensure manual or automation and/or performance test suite design. Ensure available test data and environments satisfy case definition. Document test defects and monitor all other project level defects, track team and project defects to resolution, and coordinate issue resolution at an application or project level. Provide release metrics and analysis for future process improvements and define and drive test improvements. Responsible for creation and implementation of mitigation strategies and escalation to management when issues or challenges arise impacting completion of key milestones. Provide direction and mentor team members.
This position also requires working knowledge of HP automated testing tools; Visual Basic, C/C++, SQL, XML; Relation databases; Systems & Integration Test Criteria; testing, enhancements, & bug fixes on N-Tier applications on UNIX & Win Platforms.
Master of Science degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or closely related field, or Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or closely related field and at least five years of progressive related quality assurance engineering experience, or the equivalent.
