Summary:
As an Event Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of various events.
You will work closely with event managers and coordinators to ensure seamless event experiences for attendees.
This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Assist with the logistical planning and coordination of events, including but not limited to venue selection, catering, transportation, and accommodations.
Provide on-site support during events, including setup, registration, attendee assistance, and breakdown.
Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and other external partners to ensure timely delivery of services and products.
Assist with the creation and distribution of event materials, such as signage, programs, and promotional items.
Assist with marketing and promotion efforts for events, including social media posts, email campaigns, and website updates.
Conduct research on industry trends, competitors, and potential event opportunities.
Handle administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and invoice processing related to events.
Provide general support to the event management team as needed.
Requirements:
Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all work.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and external partners.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other relevant software.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by event schedules.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
