Sales Associate

Much of time spent outside location doing in home sales consultations for remodels.
Outside Sales Representative ensures efficient and effective sales operations and relations with homeowners and remodel contractors.
Sells products and services in home or our showroom by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following including:
Compiles lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads, based call in and leads generated by our website.
Travels throughout assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers to solicit orders, or talks with customers on sales floor or by phone.
Displays or demonstrates product, using samples or catalog, and emphasizes salable features.
Prepare, coordinate and communicate price quotations, terms of sales, delivery dates and service obligations to customers/contractors.
Prepares reports of business transactions and keeps expense accounts Tracks stock levels.
Resolve customer complaints and problems.
Enters new customer data and other sales data for current customers into computer database.
Develops and maintains relationships with purchasing contacts.
Assist in the collection of accounts receivable.
Attend custom builder meetings as necessary.
Other duties as assigned by location management.
Required Skills Special skills required:
Working knowledge of building materials industry and products, ability to negotiate prices and contractual agreements.
Special knowledge required:
Working knowledge of accounting principles and local building codes and compliance requirements.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
