The Medical Education Learning Technologies Analyst II leads innovation as well as the operation, optimization, and administration of an assigned portfolio of products, services, education capabilities and classroom operations and connectivity functions of the Office of Medical Education Technology for the Heritage College.
Administers and manages non-enterprise applications including technical testing, troubleshooting, analysis, configuration, and maintenance.
Provides technical guidance pertaining to the capabilities, limitations and requirements of applications.
Designs IT solutions using existing tools and technologies.
Assesses compatibility and integration of products and services proposed as standards, to ensure integration across interdependent technologies.
Provide guidance, planning, development, support, implementation, and evaluation of all technology hardware as well as software-based learning technologies that are part of classroom connectivity and faculty support for all HCOM curriculum learning activities.
They ensure stakeholder standards and processes throughout the three campuses of Heritage College and ensure accessibility, applicability, and functionality of all desktops, video conferencing, and classroom applications and services.
Provides guidance, advice and counsel to those with media production, classroom technology hardware, and learning software application needs (i.
.
e Panopto, Top Hat, ExamSoft, etc.
).
They are accountable for the production of highly visible programs within the Heritage College and ensures high quality distance learning, successful campus curriculum collaboration, and other learning technology operations between all campuses of the Heritage College.
They are responsible for aligning proprietary classroom applications, technology, desktop, systems infrastructure and platform technologies and design with Heritage College strategic initiatives.
Primary
Responsibilities:
1.
Classroom Application, Learning Technologies, Desktop, and Distance Learning Operations Management Works with Heritage College Faculty, Staff, and Students to understand and support most tiers of technology requests and projects, provide advice and guidance on best approaches for the optimal business and classroom experiences including unique medical education applications and systems (i.
e.
ThinkHub Connect, eMedley, iHuman, LearningSpace, etc.
) Use an inclusive approach to empathize with a diverse academic constituency in designing experiences and solutions.
Identify opportunities for application service improvement and enhancements and communicate application service information with stakeholders.
Apply in-depth service knowledge to solve technology problems and fulfill service requests.
Respond to personal computing devices, associated peripherals, and classroom IT/AV equipment work orders pertaining to application support.
Response to work orders may involve troubleshooting and coordinating with peers for the repair of computing or AV equipment necessary for application operation as well as communicating with faculty, staff, and students.
Follow up with faculty, staff, and students to ensure the proper operations of any necessary applications with the required hardware and software.
Provide exceptional technical, operational, and organizational/planning support for a suite of related classroom applications or services in areas such as lecture capture, audience response systems, classroom presentation tools, and virtual microscopy.
Maintain a working knowledge of application functionality and configuration settings.
Perform configuration, upgrade, and maintenance on a routine basis.
Develop, maintain, and organize documentation and support resources for users, peers, and lower-level support functions.

Classroom Application, Learning Technologies, Desktop, and Distance Learning Operations Support and Security Organize necessary resources and provide application, classroom technology and video conferencing operations to ensure a seamless distance learning experience to the Heritage College extended and clinical campuses.
Develop and implement standards to ensure the security, reliability, and availability of Heritage College unique technology.
Studies and understands policies, procedures, and best practices when it comes to medical data and other sensitive data, provides instruction and guidance to faculty and staff to apply these policies and procedures.
Preferred experience with electronic medical records and HIPAA / FERPA standards.
Manage user access to applications to ensure user system access and functions are appropriately aligned with job function.
Coordinate with peers for the management and maintenance of various computing devices and audio & video equipment for simulated patient environments necessary for application support.
Includes the responsibility to document, analyze and track the appropriate level of application access, especially concerning protection of sensitive data as it relates to HIPAA and FERPA requirements.
Studies and understands policies, procedures, and best practices when it comes to medical data and other sensitive data, provides instruction and guidance to faculty and staff to apply these policies and procedures when using required technology applications and tools.
Preferred experience with electronic medical records and HIPAA / FERPA standards.
Group Policy and System Center Configuration Manager ( SCCM ) experience preferred but not required.
Assist senior management with strategic initiatives including application customization and integration with university systems through custom programming/ API functionality and/or advanced knowledge of relevant industry standards and vendor tools for medical education technologies.
Coordinate with other Heritage College offices to schedule events and plan adequate resources.
Conduct disaster recovery analysis and planning for Heritage College unique applications.

Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree and 3-5 years of work-related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Ability to issue clean, concise, and accurate written and oral communications that are audience appropriate.
Strong administrative, organizational, and time management skills.

Department HCOM - Dublin Campus Pay RateThe target hiring range for this role is $58,972 to $68,556 and the final offer will be commensurate with the candidate's education and experience in relation to the minimum qualifications for the position and considering internal equity.
