Requirements:
A positive, compassionate and self driven individual who is customer service oriented Dependable, teachable, personable and a team player Ability to answer and manage a multi-line phone system Able to interact with clients by checking patients in, performing financial transactions, and answering client questions through clear communication in person, over the phone, or through email or text Computer literate Willing to be cross trained in some veterinary assistant work Experience with animal clinic products is a plus, but not required Ability to conduct oneself in a confident, calm, and professional manner with clients and staff when situations are stressful and/or focused on individual tasks Experience working within the animal care field preferred, but not required Responsibilities include but are not limited to performing:
Answering multiline phones including:
scheduling appointments and surgeries according to clinic guidelines, taking medication requests and confirming appointments.
Update communications and standard of care of patients within medical records Responding to client emails and texts Checking clients in for appointments and running financial transactions when discharging patients Filing all patient authorization forms and other paperwork Helping with technician appointments when needed Daily cleaning tasks Locations:
