SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE The Patient Care Coordinator (PCC) is the face of the clinic and the first and last point- of- contact for all existing patients.
They ensure an excellent patient experience by handling all front desk responsibilities and also providing standard care procedures, such as drawing blood, checking patient vitals, and collecting lab samples.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Performs phlebotomy on all patients Administers intramuscular injections Educates patients on how to self-administer injections Constitutes medications and prepares them for patient pick up Triages patients Enters all patient metrics into exam forms Scans and maintains patient paperwork Tracks inventory of supplies Memorizes all phone scripts Answers all incoming calls Schedules and/or reschedules appointments Makes outbound calls to all patients requesting a consultation, seeking to reschedule, or wanting to book an appointment Confirms appointments via phone call, email, and/or text message Greets, checks in, and checks out all patients Rings up retail purchases Understands and utilizes Options software systems Maintains a general understanding of all Options programs Completes patient InBody scans Manages patient flow to minimize wait time Closes and reconciles the point-of-sale system Ensures organization and cleanliness of waiting area, front desk, restroom, and all other clinic common areas Performs other related duties to benefit the mission of the organization REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE High School Diploma required Medical Assistant or Phlebotomy Certification preferred One year of medical assisting or phlebotomy experience required One year of experience in a receptionist, front desk, or customer service role COMPETENCIES High energy and enthusiasm for helping people Excellent Phone Skills Intermediate computer skills Experience with EMR and phone systems Ability to multi-task, adapt and change focus frequently, and work in a fast-paced environment Must be adept at performing phlebotomy without supervision Understands and complies with all HIPAA and OSHA standards WE OFFER Medical (Employer supplemented), Dental, Vision Parental PTO Employer paid short-term disability Paid Time Off (PTO).

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
